More and more people today are searching the web to locate services and products. Ranking refers to where your page lists/ranks when individuals search for particular keywords or phrases. For example, if your web site pertains to Web Design Services and a search is conducted for "web design", in the list of results, if your site is list within the first few hits the page is ranked high.
