Attracting Visitors to Your site
Attracting visitors to your site may be easier that you think.
Find out what your visitors are interested in. Analyze your sites statistics with tools such as Mint or Google Analytics to determine which parts of your site cause people to stay the longest.
Focus your content development on those areas where your visitors seem most interested. Keep that content fresh. People will revisit your site if they know that it will continue to contain information relevant to them and their future needs.
Establish that "human touch" with your visitors. Use social media such as blogging or twitter to engage your visitors. People will come to your site if they feel that your business is interested in engaging them. Word of mouth is a powerful tool! If your visitors are telling others to check out your site, traffic to your site will begin to grow significantly!
This is why I am a fan of developing dynamic websites. Static sites are good for conveying information but dynamic sites are for those whose content is updated regularly and social networking.
Check out my blog on What is a Content Management system? for more information on dynamic websites.
